Undefeated grappling superstar Bia Mesquita has her next UFC challenge lined up.
At a March 14 UFC Fight Night event taking place at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Mesquita (6-0 MMA, 1-0 UFC) returns for her sophomore appearance with the promotion to face Montserrat Rendon in a women’s bantamweight matchup. MMA Junkie confirmed the matchup with two sources who asked to remain anonymous, as the promotion has yet to officially announce the booking.

After winning the LFA’s vacant women’s bantamweight title in June, Mesquita made her UFC debut in October. Her first test under the bright lights was against Irina Alekseeva, whom she submitted in the second round by rear-naked choke. It was a finish that earned the Brazilian a Performance of the Night bonus.
Rendon (7-1 MMA, 2-1 UFC) made one appearance in 2025, a split decision win over Alice Pereira. The Mexico-born fighter also won her UFC debut by split decision over Tamires Vidal, but hit a bump in the road against Darya Zheleznyakova, losing unanimously on the cards.
