USC wide receiver Makai Lemon earns Unanimous All-American honors

by

Last weekend, USC wide receiver Makai Lemon and safety Bishop Fitzgerald were named first team All-Americans by the Walter Camp Football Federation. After the rest of the All-American teams came out this past week, it is now official: Lemon is a unanimous All-American.

A Unanimous All-American is one who is named to the first team by each of the five major selectors: Walter Camp, the Associated Press, the Football Writers Association of America, the American Football Coaches Association, and Sporting News. Lemon was indeed selected by all five. He is USC’s first Unanimous All-American since Caleb Williams and Tuli Tuipulotu both took home such honors in 2022.

Lemon finished the regular season with 79 receptions for 1,156 yards and 11 touchdowns. His receiving yards were the most among any Power Four player, and he also added two touchdowns on the ground.

Lemon also won the Biletnikoff Award, presented annually to the top pass catcher in all of college football. He recently declared for the 2026 NFL Draft, where he is projected to be a first round pick.
