Sophie Cunningham isn’t just throwing elbows on the basketball court—she’s thinking about throwing punches in a WWE ring one day, and she wants the Bella twins.
The Indiana Fever guard spoke with bryanna.sports for an interview that took an unexpected turn when the talk shifted to WWE. When asked who she’d want to face if she ever stepped foot inside a WWE ring, Sophie didn’t hesitate. She embraced the idea of going full “heel” or “babyface,” saying she’d want a name and persona that captures her fire.
“I don’t know what my name would be, but I know it would be something spicy and feisty. Something fun,” she said with a grin.
But then she dropped the real kicker—she wants to either team up with or go against Nikki and Brie Bella inside the squared circle.
“What about the Bella Twins? It would be fun to partner with them — or go against them. So hopefully one day I’ll be the one taking away their shine.”
And guess what? Nikki Bella saw the clip — and didn’t waste time throwing down the challenge as she made it clear she’ll face Sophie in singles competition.
“I’ll take her on one on one… 💋🙌🏼”
Whether it’s tag team action or a singles match, Sophie clearly has WWE ambitions, and Nikki Bella might’ve just opened the door for it to happen. Between Sophie’s athleticism and the Bella brand power, this could be a crossover moment fans didn’t see coming — but now everyone wants to.
