Indianola girls basketball took a win over Stuart on the road Thursday.
The Warriorettes improved to 8-4 on the season with the 52-42 win over the Lady Hornets.
It was a tight contest early, but Indianola took a narrow 12-11 lead at the end of the first quarter. The Warriorettes scored 14 in the second quarter to take a 26-22 lead heading into the halftime break.

The Lady Hornets were outscored 10-7 in the third quarter and again in the fourth 15-13.
As a team, Indianola went 20-for-30 at the free throw line. Stuart got to the line just 10 times in the game and connected on four.
The Lady Hornets led the game in 3-point makes with six. The Warriorettes made four 3-pointers.
Indianola’s Rylee Youngblood scored the most points of any player in the game with 28 tallies. Youngblood hit one 3-pointer and went 13-for-15 at the free throw line.
Makenzie Lott was second in scoring for the Warriorettes with 17 points.
Kyla Bear led the Lady Hornets in scoring with 16 points. Lainey Parnell knocked down four 3-pointers for 12 points.
This was both teams’ final game before the Christmas break.
Indianola plays again at 6 p.m. Jan. 6 at home against Kiowa. Stuart plays again at 6 p.m. Jan. 13 at Canadian.
