WATCH: Ohio State receiver Jeremiah Smith previews matchup vs. Miami

by

Despite what the postseason awards circuit says, Ohio State receiver Jeremiah Smith is still the best receiver — and arguably the best player — in the college game. He and the Buckeyes will be taking all of that talent to the Dallas area to try that notion out again against his hometown college program, the Miami Hurricanes, on December 31 in a CFP quarterfinal matchup in the Cotton Bowl Classic.

Before that, though, there are media obligations that a few on the Ohio State team have to be a part of, and seeing how Smith is one of the superstars wearing the Scarlet and Gray, he was included in the offense media availability early this week, and we have all of his comments here for you thanks to the WBNS 10 TV YouTube channel.

Some interesting things came out of the presser, like just how injured Smith was at the end of the regular season, what kind of ailment he was dealing with, what it’ll mean to play against players from South Florida he knows well, and more.

Smith says he’s 100% healthy now, so it’ll be fun to see how he and his teammates deal with a talented Hurricanes squad to ring in the New Year. We’ll have plenty more leading up to all of that, so be sure to come back here and get the content you need before, during, and after the Cotton Bowl Classic.
