Caitlin Clark Sends Message Ahead of Kelsey Mitchell’s Unrivaled Debut

by

Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark may not be playing competitive basketball this WNBA offseason, but she’s clearly ready to cheer for her teammates as they suit up in other leagues.

Clark, who played just 13 games in 2025 due to a groin injury, did not join the 3-on-3 league Unrivaled despite reportedly being heavily pursued. There was speculation that she would join in 2026 after opting not to participate in its inaugural season in 2025.

Unfortunately, with Clark focusing on her recovery and getting back to 100% health, it’s not surprising that she chose to skip the competition for the second straight year.

While Clark won’t be participating in Unrivaled, her other Fever teammates such as Lexie Hull, Aliyah Boston, Kelsey Mitchell, Aari McDonald and Makayla Timpson all joined the league.

Mitchell, in particular, is making her Unrivaled debut and will play for one of the league’s newest clubs, Hive BC.

On Tuesday, Mitchell shared several photos of herself in her new jersey, as she teased her upcoming appearance.

“eyes open. mouth closed,” Mitchell wrote in the caption of her post.

Clark, for her part, showed her support for Mitchell by commenting on the post. She wrote, “Let’s go kels!!!!!!”
