Jennifer Brady will launch her comeback Down Under.

Brady will make her first appearance in Melbourne Park five years after her run to the 2021 AO final.

Former world No. 13 Brady is one of several notable American players on the 2026 Australian Open Qualifying Entry List. Brady reached the 2021 AO final falling to Naomi Osaka 6-4-, 6-3.

A litany of injuries have sidelined the 30-year-old Pennsylvania native.

Brady has battled a foot injury and underwent right knee surgery in January of 2024. She’s currently listed as “inactive” on her WTA player page. However, Brady is on the AO entry qualifying list under a Special Ranking of No. 222 and poised to make her first major appearance since the 2023 US Open.

Brady joins compatriots 2017 US Open champion Sloane Stephens, Taylor Townsend, Madison Brengle, Claire Lu and Bernarda Pera on the AO Qualifying Entry List.

Polina Kudermetova, Katie Boulter, Storm Hunter and Lucia Bronzetti are also on the list.
