The December 30 episode of NXT was the brand’s last chance to make noise in 2025. The Year-End Awards are a yearly tradition in NXT, and the nominees were already set. Now we know who won the big awards.
During the year-end awards, NXT fans were given the chance to vote for their favorite male Superstar, with Je’Von Evans, Oba Femi, Ricky Saints, Trick Williams, and Ethan Page all nominated for the honor. When the votes were tallied, Je’Von Evans came out on top. He accepted the trophy and told fans that 2026 would be even bigger for him in NXT.
The Tag Team of the Year category featured a wide range of standout duos and factions, including DarkState, Hank & Tank, Zaria & Sol Ruca, Fatal Influence, and The Culling, reflecting how deep the division has become over the past year. In the end, Sol Ruca and Zaria pulled down the trophy. They were very happy about claiming this prize after their one-year anniversary as a team.
The Match of the Year nominees showcased NXT’s in-ring depth, with the Women’s Iron Survivor Challenge at Deadline, Oba Femi vs. Je’Von Evans at Heatwave, Ricky Saints vs. Ethan Page at the Great American Bash, Kelani Jordan vs. Sol Ruca at Battleground, Oba Femi vs. Trick Williams vs. Je’Von Evans at Stand & Deliver, and Jacy Jayne vs. Lola Vice at No Mercy all earning nominations. When the votes came in, Oba Femi vs Je’Von Evans vs Trick Williams at Stand & Deliver won the big honor.
NXT fans voted for Female Superstar of the Year, with Jacy Jayne, Sol Ruca, Blake Monroe, Tatum Paxley, and Kelani Jordan all nominated. This award went to Sol Ruca when the votes were counted. She was, naturally, very happy to receive this trophy and rub it a bit.
For Moment of the Year, fans had plenty to choose from, including the NXT vs. TNA brawl, Blake Monroe’s debut, Ricky Saints’ debut, Tatum Paxley winning the NXT Women’s Championship, Stephanie Vaquer becoming a double champion, Jacy Jayne defeating Stephanie Vaquer, Stacks betraying Tony D’Angelo, Trick Williams winning the TNA World Championship, Joe Hendry appearing unexpectedly, and The Hardy Boyz capturing the NXT Tag Team titles.
Finally, fans voted on Best PLE/Show of the Year, with New Year’s Evil, Vengeance Day, Roadblock, Stand & Deliver, Battleground, Great American Bash, Heatwave, Homecoming, No Mercy, Showdown, Halloween Havoc, Gold Rush, and Deadline were all nominated. In the end, Stand & Deliver won the award.
