Positive Update on Bianca Belair’s Recovery After Brutal WrestleMania Injury

by

Bianca Belair just gave fans a real-time look at her recovery—and things are finally moving in the right direction.

The EST of WWE took to her Instagram Stories with a series of personal photos showing her injured finger, the same one that’s kept her out of action since WrestleMania 41. The images offered a raw look at how serious the damage was—but also confirmed that healing is very much underway.

Earlier photos showed the finger still visibly swollen, a reminder of how brutal the original injury really was. But in more recent images, the swelling had noticeably reduced, and while some bruising remains, the improvement is clear. Perhaps the most hopeful sign? Belair was seen wearing a ring on the finger again—something she hadn’t been able to do for months.

The update follows her appearance on BET’s 106 & Sports back in November, where she detailed the injury and revealed it was far worse than originally believed.

“So I broke my knuckle — which is not my finger — I broke my knuckle joint,” she explained. “It’s something that I thought was gonna be a very straightforward, eight to 12 weeks. It’s been almost six months at this point.”

Belair suffered the injury during a brutal top-rope triple German suplex spot with Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY at WrestleMania.

“Rhea landed straight on my hand and just crushed everything in my finger,” she said.

While the road has been long, this new round of photos is the most optimistic sign yet. Those in WWE continue to believe Belair could return in early 2026, with some even speculating a possible clearance sooner than expected.

Though she hasn’t competed since April, she did return briefly at WWE Evolution as the special guest referee for Jade Cargill vs. Naomi—another sign that her comeback trail is heating up.
