Jan. 2—FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. — Montana’s Mack Konig matched NAU’s Naomi White with 27 points, but the Lumberjacks came away with an 81-72 victory Thursday at the Walkup Skydome in a Big Sky Women’s basketball game.
Avery Waddington added 16 for the Lady Griz (3-8 overall, 0-1 in Big Sky Conference play), Rae Ehrman had 11.

A Taylor scored 17 for the Lumberjacks (4-9, 1-0), E Dasovich had 15 and M Watts tallied 10 to put four NAU players in double-figures.
Montana trailed 64-62 going into the fourth quarter when a 9-2 run opened up a 73-66 lead for NAU.
Kennedy Gillette cut the deficit to 75-70 for the Lady Griz, but a 3-pointer from White ended Montana’s chances.
