A former Nebraska defensive lineman has found a new home for 2026. James Williams has transferred to Oklahoma State after one season at Florida State.
Williams spent two years at Nebraska after starting his college career at Iowa Central Community College. In 16 games with Nebraska, he recorded 18 tackles, 8 for loss and 7 sacks.

He followed former defensive coordinator Tony White and defensive line coach Terrance Knighton to Florida State following the 2024 season. In his one season in Tallahassee, he recorded 19 total tackles and 1 1/2 sacks. He will have two years of eligibility remaining.
