One day after the Oregon Ducks‘ 2025 season came to a close, it appears that the program has lost another player via the transfer portal.
Redshirt freshman linebacker Kamar Mothudi plans to enter the transfer portal, per CBS Sports’ Matt Zenitz. The 6-foot-3, 245-pounder spent two seasons in Eugene, totaling four tackles in 2025 with each of them coming in blowout victories against Montana State, Oklahoma State and Rutgers.

Mothudi is a Los Angeles native and was rated as a four-star and ranked as the No. 13 linebacker and No. 175 player overall in the 2024 recruiting class, per 247 Sports.
The former four-star played in one snap on special teams during the Big Ten Championship against Penn State as a true freshman before seeing little more time as a redshirt freshman in 2025, potentially factoring into his decision to seek play time elsewhere.
Mothudi is the first linebacker to enter the portal for the Ducks, though he joins a bevy of other defenders highlighted by safety Kingston Lopa and cornerback Jahlil Florence.

He will have three seasons of eligibility remaining.
