Aryna Sabalenka has just collected back-to-back Brisbane International titles after beating in-form Marta Kostyuk 6-4 6-3 in the final.
Right out of the gate, the top-seeded Belarusian made a commanding start and took the opening three games.
While Kostyuk managed to get the break back and have the first set tied to four games apiece, Sabalenka stepped up in the key moments as she served out the ninth game before earning her second break in the following game.
Just like she started the first set, the world No. 1 opened a 3-0 lead in the second set. However, this time, the four-time Grand Slam champion made no mistake on her serve as she didn't allow the 16th-seeded Ukrainian a single break point in the rest of the final.
By beating Kostyuk, Sabalenka kept her perfect record against the 23-year-old – she now owns a 5-0 head-to-head against the Ukrainian and has never lost a set in their meetings.
For the 27-year-old Belarusian, this was her 22nd WTA title.
On the other side, Kostyuk remains on one WTA title captured in Austin three years ago.
Sabalenka's impressive Brisbane record
In her Brisbane debut in 2024, the world No. 1 finished as runner-up to Elena Rybakina in the final. Since then, the Belarusian has won back-to-back titles at the tournament and owns a 14-1 record in Brisbane.

Sabalenka won't play any tournaments next week – which means that she will arrive to the Australian Open with a perfect 5-0 record in 2026.
