Nebraska (16-0, 5-0) wrapped up a two-game road trip in Bloomington on Saturday, taking on Indiana (12-4, 3-2). Despite a disastrous stretch between the end of the first and the start of the second, the Huskers pulled out another win, 83-77, to continue their best run in school history.
Nebraska trailed by 16 partway through the second half after allowing Indiana to enter the locker room up 39-30. But the Huskers hit three straight shots from beyond the arc before adding two more layups to suddenly cut the deficit down. Then, once Nebraska retook the lead, it kept the run going.

The Huskers scored 53 points in the second half, hitting 17-of-30 in total in the stretch, 8-of-16 from beyond the arc and 11-of-14 from the free throw line, after not taking a trip to the line in the first. Nebraska finished 29-of-60, 14-of-34 and 11-of-14, respectively. Indiana finished the second half 11-of-30, 5-of-16 and 11-of-14, despite going 26-of-56, 11-of-30 and 14-of-17 on the day.
Jamarques Lawrence led Nebraska with a career game, scoring 27 points after going 8-of-13 from the floor, 5-of-8 from three-point range, and 6-of-8 from the foul line. Lawrence struck big in both halves but especially caught fire in the second, hitting 4-of-5 from the floor, 2-of-2 from beyond the arc, and 6-of-8 from the free throw line.
Rienk Mast posted 13 points for Nebraska, finishing 6-of-14 from the floor and hauling in a team-high six rebounds. Pryce Sandfort and Braden Frager combined for 23 points on the day, each shooting 4-of-9 from the floor. Sandfort earned 12 points, landing three shots from beyond the arc. Frager scored 11, all coming in the second, and even shot 2-of-2 from the foul line.
The Huskers return home from a two-game road trip, welcoming in Oregon for its next matchup on Tuesday night. Tipoff is set for 8 p.m. CT on the Big Ten Network.
