Footage Shows Security Dragging Out Fan Who Jumped Barricade at WWE SmackDown

by

A wild moment broke out at WWE SmackDown in Berlin when a fan jumped the barricade and had to be taken down by security in dramatic fashion.

The incident went down after Drew McIntyre defeated Cody Rhodes in a brutal Three Stages of Hell match on the January 9, 2026 episode—claiming the Undisputed WWE Championship and ending Cody’s 159-day reign, thanks to a returning Jacob Fatu.

In fan-shot footage now circulating online, the man can be seen leaping the barricade near ringside. WWE’s security team swarmed instantly—forcing him to the ground, dragging him over the barricade, and escorting him out before the show wrapped up. The clip showed the man being handled swiftly by multiple guards, who took control of the situation before it could escalate.

No wrestlers were in the ring when the whole thing took place, and Alicia Taylor could be heard over the PA system thanking fans for attending. It’s unclear what the fan’s intent was, but the moment definitely added to the night’s unpredictability.

WWE hasn’t issued an official statement on the barricade jumper, but with security once again forced into action, the risks of live crowds remain very real.
