Nebraska basketball was ranked No. 10 in the USA TODAY Sports Coaches Poll on Monday afternoon. This represents a one-spot jump from the last rankings.
The new ranking was announced after Nebraska’s 83-77 victory over the Indiana Hoosiers on the road in Bloomington. The Huskers are 16-0 on the season and 5-0 in the Big Ten, the best start in school history.

Nebraska also ranks No. 8 in the latest edition of the AP Poll. That’s the highest ranking in Husker basketball history, tied with the 1966 team, which was ranked No. 8 for one week in February.
Nebraska returns to action on Tuesday night when the Huskers face the Oregon Ducks. Tipoff is scheduled for 8 p.m. CT and can be seen on the Big Ten Network.
