Notre Dame lands Ohio State transfer, former five-star recruit

by

Marcus Freeman and the Notre Dame Fighting Irish are red-hot in the transfer portal, landing former Ohio State wide receiver Mylan Graham, per On3’s Hayes Fawcett.

Graham spent two seasons with the Buckeyes after signing with them as a five-star prospect in the 2024 recruiting class. He redshirted in 2024, playing in four games and not recording a catch. His playing time went up in 2025, as he played in nine games and finished the year with six receptions for 93 yards.

He is the second Ohio State receiver that Notre Dame has landed this offseason, joining Quincy Porter, another former five-star recruit. Graham is from Fort Wayne, Indiana, and will have three seasons of eligibility for the Fighting Irish. He is the second transfer they landed on Tuesday, with former Pitt defensive lineman Francis Brewu committing earlier in the day.

Graham is ranked as the No. 142 overall player and No. 39 wide receiver in the transfer portal by 247Sports. Notre Dame took advantage of their second chance to recruit him after they were unable to sway him away from the Buckeyes as a high school prospect.

He was ranked as the No. 33 overall player and No. 7 wide receiver in the 247Sports composite for the 2024 recruiting class. The 6-foot-1, 170-pounder was also the No. 1 player from Indiana.

Graham is the sixth transfer that Notre Dame has landed, four of whom are rated as four-star prospects. The group is ranked as the No. 17 class in the country, but their average player rating of 93.0 is the best in the nation.
