Jim Cornette is putting his money where his mouth is—literally—offering $5,000 to a Ford factory worker who publicly called Donald Trump a “pedophile protector.”
After UAW worker TJ Sabula was suspended from his job at a Ford plant for calling Trump a “pedophile protector” during a visit, Cornette jumped on Twitter and offered $5,000 to the worker as a thank-you for standing up.
“So s***** visited the Ford Plant—one of the workers called him a ‘pedophile protector’. S*** ler said ‘F**k You’ and gave him the finger. We’re hearing the worker got suspended or fired. If anyone can hook me up with the REAL Ford worker I have ,000 for him as a thank-you.
If anyone knows TJ Sabula I have a thank-you, a handshake and a check for ,000 ready for him.”
Sabula, who was identified by The Washington Post, told the outlet that he had “definitely no regrets whatsoever” about the incident, adding:
“I don’t feel as though fate looks upon you often, and when it does, you better be ready to seize the opportunity. And today I think I did that.”
Cornette’s response is consistent with his long-standing stance against WWE’s ties to Trump. Back in December 2025 on The Jim Cornette Experience, he revealed that WWE had approached him to contribute to a biography project on Kane, but he refused due to Kane’s public support of Trump:
“If you’d called me five years ago, I would’ve been happy to be a part of it. But now he’s standing there with his arm around Donald Trump, and I’m ashamed of him. I don’t want to be involved.”
Whether it’s corporate partnerships or public protest, Cornette continues to be one of the loudest voices in wrestling willing to speak—and pay—for what he believes in.
