The Clemson Tigers are surging, and not just on the basketball court.
Clemson (15-3 overall) won its eighth straight game on Tuesday in a 74-50 rout of the Boston College Eagles at Littlejohn Coliseum. Nick Davidson was the star of the show for the Tigers, scoring 21 straight points for Clemson and finishing the night with a game-high 25.

Clemson turned a 15-11 deficit at the 12:36 mark of the first half into a 37-27 halftime lead. The Tigers would lead by 25 in the second half.
R.J. Godfrey and Carter Welling had 10 points and eight rebounds apiece for Clemson, which improved to 5-0 in ACC play. The Tigers held Boston College leading scorer, Donald Hand Jr., scoreless in 31 minutes of action Tuesday.
Clemson’s win over the Eagles, coupled by a 15-point road victory at Notre Dame, also has the Tigers on the rise in the latest NET rankings and KenPom ratings.
Clemson basketball rises in NET rankings after 5-0 ACC start
After its blowout win over Boston College, Clemson is No. 28 in the NET rankings, up four spot from last week. The Tigers are one spot behind No. 27 St. John’s in the NET rankings and one spot ahead of No. 29 Villanova.

Clemson is No. 26 in the latest KenPom ratings after taking down Notre Dame, 76-61, and Boston College, 74-50. That’s up eight spots from last week. The Tigers have an overall rating of +21.18 (up from +19.30), including 117.5 rating on offense that’s 61st in KenPom. The Tigers’ 96.3 defensive rating is 26th nationally (up seven spots).
Clemson is ranked one spot ahead of No. 27 Georgia and one spot below No. 25 Villanova in KenPom ratings.

Clemson hosts the Miami Hurricanes (15-2, 4-0) Saturday at Littlejohn Coliseum. Tipoff for Clemson-Miami is 2:15 p.m. ET. The game will be televised on The CW.
