The Lady Pirates opened a busy week of four games with a conference game against visiting South Dearborn. A 30-point first quarter by Greensburg set the tone as the Lady Pirates sailed to a 74-16 victory against the Lady Knights Monday.
Greensburg moved to 14-5 and 3-1 in the EIAC. South Dearborn dropped to 1-19 and 0-5 in conference action.

After a 30-4 first quarter, Greensburg back that up with a 26-3 second quarter to lead 56-7 at the half. With the running clock, Greensburg outscored the Lady Knights 18-9 in the second half.
Greensburg dominated in transition points, outscoring the Lady Knights 47-2. The Lady Pirates forced 25 turnovers and turned those into 34 points. On the glass, the Lady Pirates outrebounded the Lady Knights 41-21.
The Lady Pirates were led in scoring by Claire Larrison with 16 points. Aly Powers and Mary Harmon were in double figures with 11 and 10 points respectively. Lulu Webb scored nine points followed by Kiera Kennelly seven, Sophie Buening six, Aubrie Barnes-Pettit five, Emma Kuntz five, Kahlen Adams three and Rachel Lipps two.
Larrison finished with a team-high eight rebounds. Lipps pulled down seven rebounds. Barnes-Pettit and Webb both had six rebounds. Kennelly added four rebounds.

Larrison dished out seven assists. Kuntz and Webb both had three assists. Barnes-Pettit, Kennelly, Powers and Harmon all had two assists.
Tuesday, the top-ranked Lady Pirates hosted No. 6 Roncalli. After Greensburg took a 16-12 lead after the first quarter, the Lady Royals won each of the final three quarters en route to the 66-51 victory against the Lady Pirates.
Greensburg falls to 14-6 and Roncalli improves to 16-3.
Roncalli outscored the Lady Pirates 18-11 in the second quarter to lead 30-27 at the half. After three quarter, the Lady Royals led 51-40.
Greensburg shot 40 percent from the field, but the big difference came at the charity stripe. The Lady Pirates connected on 8-of-18 while Roncalli hit 14-of-15. Roncalli also outscored Greensburg 36-26 in the paint and was able to force six more turnovers by the Lady Pirates in the contest.

Roncalli had three players score in double figures: Elliot Leffler 19, Catie Rosko 14 and Lydia Stahley 11.
For the Lady Pirates, Larrison tallied 18 points, eight rebounds and four assists. Powers finished with 15 points, six rebounds and two assists. Adams added six points and three rebounds. Harmon had five points, three rebounds and four assists. Buening chipped in with five points and two rebounds. Kuntz had two points, three rebounds and two assists.
Batesville
Coming off the Ripley County Tournament title, the Lady Bulldogs traveled to Switzerland County to take on the Lady Pacers. The Lady Bulldogs’ offense was ready to go from the start, outscoring Switzerland County 22-3 in the first quarter en route to a 57-26 victory.

Batesville improves to 11-9 on the season. The Lady Pacers fall to 7-10.
The Lady Bulldogs took a 31-7 lead to the break at the half and led 46-18 after three quarters.
Batesville had a balanced scoring attack with nine players scoring. Kaylin Kathmann led the way with 19 points, six rebounds and four assists. Molly Gesell finished with 13 points and 10 rebounds for her double-double. Maggie Jelinek tallied six points and seven rebounds. Nora Wiedeman had five points, two assists and one rebound. Jo Dirkhising scored four points. Jersey Trenkamp and Caitlin Raver both added three points and one rebound. Leah Meyer had two points and 10 rebounds. Aubrey Kathmann had two points and one rebound.
Batesville edged Switzerland County in the junior varsity contest 22-21.

Dirkhising, Aubrey Kathmann and Bella Watson all scored six points. Raver and Meyer added two points. Dirkhising had a team-high seven rebounds.
Rushville
Host Shelbyville needed a fourth-quarter rally to hold off Rushville Tuesday as the Lady Golden Bears prevailed against the Lady Lions 44-34.
Shelbyville improves to 10-7. Rushville falls to 2-17.
Shelbyville led 12-8 after the first eight minutes of action. A 10-9 second quarter by the Lady Golden Bears gave Shelbyville a 22-17 lead at the half. Rushville outscored the host squad 13-5 in the third quarter to grab a 30-27 lead heading to the fourth quarter.

Kelsey Morgan led the Lady Lions with eight points. Lia Bohn scored six points. Carly Senour and Charlotte Caviness both had five points. Mikayla Herbert and Makenna Ripberger both scored four points. Charli Marcum added two points.
Rushville’s junior varsity squad fell to Shelbyville 43-38. The Lady Lions are 2-15.
For Rushville, Haylie Tucker tallied 10 points, three rebounds and two steals. Jennifer Ballenger finished with six points, one rebound and one steal. Jasmine Taylor added six points, four rebounds and one steal. Althea Tellas had five points, one rebound, two assists and three steals. Jerrica Taylor finished with four points and four rebounds. Elaine Angle had four points, two rebounds and one assist. Ryli Whaley chipped in with two points, one assist and one steal. Emily Rouse had one point, one rebound and one steal. Annie Buzzard grabbed three rebounds. Molly Corn added one rebound and one steal.
