The UFC has put out an official statement naming the replacement for the UFC 324 co-main event.
The January 24 card was meant to feature a bantamweight title clash between Kayla Harrison and Amanda Nunes as the co-headliner.

On Friday morning, the UFC released a statement confirming Harrison’s withdrawal and shutting down any talk of Nunes staying on the card with a replacement opponent.
Instead, an already scheduled undercard fight will be moved into the co-main slot.
The promotion explained: “Due to injury with Kayla Harrison, the championship bout against Amanda Nunes has been postponed to a later date.”

“The new co-main event will feature the all-action matchup between former UFC bantamweight champion Sean O’Malley and top contender Song Yadong.”
Sean O’Malley will have a special fan at UFC 324
O’Malley has spoken about why his upcoming bout at UFC 324 feels different from any of his previous fights.
This time, it is because his daughter will be in the crowd, watching him fight live for the first time.
‘Suga’ explained: “Now she’s five, she’s actually gonna come to the fight for the first time.
“She’s come to a lot of the fight weeks, and she just goes to the press conferences and the weigh-ins, and she thought that was the fight… I’m like, that makes me feel different. A little bit different.

“I’ve never thought of like, [Donald] Trump’s been at the fight, obviously Dana [White], Mark Zuckerberg, like there’s been all these names, but it’s just people. But, my little princess is going to be there watching, and that’s exciting.”
