Justin Gaethje is one of the few of his generation who’s still fighting at the elite level in the UFC’s lightweight division, and he proved that in his most recent outing.
At UFC 313, Gaethje faced Rafael Fiziev for a second time in hopes to maintain his status in the division, and not go down the ladder like many other fellow veterans. “The Highlight” made sure to keep his title hopes alive by putting on a Fight of the Night performance against Fiziev, and winning a unanimous decision. It was a big win for Gaethje, as he was coming off a bad KO loss to Max Holloway a year prior.

Gaethje (26-5 MMA, 9-5 UFC) returns to the cage to fight for the UFC interim lightweight title in the main event of UFC 324 on Jan. 24 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. He takes on British star Paddy Pimblett (23-3 MMA, 7-0 UFC).
