A fun welterweight matchup has been added to UFC Fight Night 271 in Seattle.
On March 28 at Climate Pledge Arena, Michael Chiesa will take on Carlston Harris. MMA Junkie confirmed the booking following a first report from Eurosport NL. The event is headlined by a middleweight bout between former champion Israel Adesanya and Joe Pyfer.

Chiesa (19-7 MMA, 14-7 UFC) steps away from the UFC analyst desk for his first fight since June, when he picked up a decision win over Court McGee. “The Ultimate Fighter 15” winner is currently on a three-fight winning streak, which includes stoppage wins over Tony Ferguson and Max Griffin.
Harris (19-7 MMA, 4-3 UFC) shares the same overall professional record as Chiesa, but pales in UFC experience. He’ll look to get back on track after back-to-back stoppage losses to Khaos Williams and Santiago Ponzinibbio. Harris, 38, last tasted victory by way of third-round submission of Jeremiah Wells in August 2023.
