Penta is returning to AAA television—and he’s bringing a major announcement with him.
The former AAA and AEW star appeared in a backstage segment on the January 17 episode of AAA on FOX Latin America, where it was revealed that he’ll make a special announcement on the January 24 broadcast.
Penta was originally scheduled to reunite with Rey Fenix as the Lucha Bros at Guerra de Titanes 2025, but an injury forced him to miss the event. His upcoming announcement could shed light on what’s next for him in the company—or possibly even tease a return to in-ring action for AAA.
In addition to Penta’s appearance, the January 24 episode is shaping up to be a championship-heavy night, with three title matches confirmed for the card:
- El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. will defend the AAA Latin American Championship
- Pagano & Psycho Clown will put their AAA World Tag Team Championships on the line
- Laredo Kid is set to defend the AAA World Cruiserweight Championship
As of now, no opponents have been announced for any of the title bouts. The combination of Penta’s return to AAA programming and multiple championship defenses makes this one of the most anticipated AAA on FOX Latin America episodes in recent months.
