WWE may be setting Liv Morgan up for the biggest push of her career—and her road to WrestleMania 42 could start with a massive Royal Rumble victory.
On January 19, 2026, Self Made Pro dropped a major update during a Self Made Session, revealing that internal discussions within WWE have centered around having Liv Morgan win the upcoming Women’s Royal Rumble match and head straight into a WrestleMania 42 title match with Stephanie Vaquer.
“There are people who think Liv Morgan should win the Royal Rumble and go straight into facing Stephanie Vaquer, and that’s absolutely in play. There have been high-level meetings over the last couple of weeks to hammer out some plans for WrestleMania,” Self Made Pro reported.
This update comes just weeks after Wrestlevotes Radio on Fightful Select first noted that WWE was planning a major push for Morgan heading into WrestleMania. According to that report, WWE officials have been pushing to elevate Morgan as a “true centerpiece of the women’s division” on the grandest stage of the year.
“Several people we’ve talked to would like to see Morgan positioned towards the top of the Women’s Card come April at Allegiant Stadium,” Wrestlevotes added.
Morgan declared herself for the Royal Rumble during the January 19th edition of Monday Night Raw. If WWE pulls the trigger on a Rumble win, it would mark her first-ever Royal Rumble victory and her first marquee singles title match at WrestleMania.
With WrestleMania 42 set for April 18–19, 2026, at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, and the Royal Rumble just around the corner, all eyes are now on Liv Morgan’s next move.
