After a delay, the Phoenix Mercury have released their 2026 schedule.
The Mercury, along with the rest of the WNBA teams, released 44-game 2026 schedules on Jan. 21. The schedule drop comes as the league and the players’ union are still in flux over a collective bargaining agreement, which could affect the 2026 season if negotiations continue into May.

As of right now, the Mercury will tip off the season on May 9 with a WNBA Finals rematch at the Las Vegas Aces. The Mercury’s home opener is slated for May 12 against the Minnesota Lynx, a WNBA semifinals rematch.
Phoenix will have a four-game homestand from May 12-21, as well as a five-game homestand from Aug. 16-29.
Additionally, the Mercury will have seven multi-game road trips, while nine of the first 14 games will be on the road.
The Mercury play the expansion Toronto Tempe for the first time on May 19 at Mortgage Matchup Center, then head to Canada on June 27.
The Mercury and Portland Fire will play each other for the first time on June 5 on the road, followed by the Fire heading to Mortgage Matchup Center on Aug. 16.

There is a two-week break in the league schedule from Aug. 31-Sept. 16 for the FIBA Women’s World Cup in Berlin, Germany.
Phoenix will conclude its regular season schedule at home on Thursday, Sept. 24, against the Aces.
The Mercury’s preseason schedule and the team’s local and national broadcast schedules will be announced at later dates.
