Rugby World Cup 2027 tournament organizers have confirmed the stadiums for the Men’s 2027 World Cup in Australia. The tournament will be played in seven cities with a total of eight venues hosting the matches.

The tournament will begin in Western Australia with Perth hosting the tournament opener. The match will be between hosts Australia and a pool opponent of one of Chile, Hong Kong and New Zealand. The tournament will conclude on the East Coast with Sydney, like it did in 2003 hosting the final.

  • Matches: Six pool matches

  • Matches: Six pool matches, two round of 16 and two quarter-finals
  • Hosted the USA’s near miss against Fiji at RWC 2003.

  • Matches: Six pool matches and two round of 16
  • Hosted matches at RWC 2003 including two of Canada’s matches.

  • Matches: Five pool matches (including the opening) and two round of 16
  • Larger than the venue used in Perth during RWC 2003. Uruguay played two matches in Perth in 2003.

  • Capacity: 82,000
  • Matches: Two pool matches, two quarter-finals, two semi-finals, Bronze Final and Final
  • The largest venue in the tournament. It hosted the opening match in 2003 between Australia and Argentina.

  • Capacity: 42,500
  • Matches: Three pool matches and two round of 16
  • It hosted matches at RWC 2003 including wins for Argentina and Uruguay.

  • Matches: Four pool matches
  • A different venue to that used in Townsville at RWC 2003. It will be the northern most venue at RWC 2027.
