Pakistan will be hosting Australia for a white-ball series ahead of the ICC T20 World Cup 2026. The series is scheduled to help Australia get an idea of the subcontinent-like pitches and to hand Pakistan a preparatory series against one of the most influential sides in the world.

As Australian tourists were shown taking a stroll through the streets of Pakistan, they were greeted by the locals with great pleasure. This was a portrayal of Pakistan’s hospitality, which they have been pushing for after the cancellation of ICC matches in the nation.

PCB’s vile attempt to defame India globally
Having been assured of Pakistan’s hospitality and security and also establishing the fact that the sport is a root culture in the nation, the PCB then attempted to draw global attention by using the handshake row incident in a quirky manner.
The most talked about portion in the video was marked when one of the Australians did not shake hands, and the Pakistani immediately reminded him, “Handshake bhool gaye aap, lagta hain padosiyo ke paas bhi ruke the” (You forgot the handshake, looks like you had an encounter with our neighbours).
The incident was marked as a scathing attack on the handshake row between India and Pakistan, which has become a common norm since the 2025 Asia Cup encounter.
Actions on the field speak loudly enough for India
The PCB has framed the event in a humorous manner rather than as banter or confrontation, yet people are well aware of social media optics in today’s world. This is an attempt to take the issue out of the Asian borders and transcend it globally.
India, however, does not need any such promos or video jabs in order to establish their hospitality, the love for the game, or use such tactics to stay relevant on the global platform. For them, their actions speak louder than words.
