The 5-foot-10, 180-pound prospect is from Plainfield High School in Plainfield, New Jersey. 247Sports ranks him as the No. 11 2027 point guard and No. 1 player in New Jersey.

Binghamton was the first school to offer Gordon a scholarship on Jan. 13, 2025. Other schools to offer him scholarships include La Salle, High Point, VCU, Mississippi State, South Florida, Oklahoma State, West Virginia, Seton Hall, Hampton, Quinnipiac, Rider, Arizona State and Marquette.

Tennessee and head coach Rick Barnes does not have a commitment in its 2027 basketball recruiting class. The Vols have three commitments in their 2026 basketball recruiting class: small forward Ralph Scott, power forward Manny Green and point guard Marquis Clark.
