Michigan State football has extended an offer to a high-end three-star offensive lineman that was on-campus on Friday for an unofficial visit.
Reed Gerken of Perrysburg, Ohio announced on Friday that he’s received an offer from the Spartans. Gerken posted about his offer from the Spartans following his visit to Michigan State on Friday.

Gerken is listed as a high-end three-star offensive tackle in 247Sports’ rating system for the 2027 class. He is also ranked as the No. 38 offensive tackle and No. 13 player from Ohio in 247Sports’ composite rankings for the class.
Michigan State joins a list of nearly 20 schools that have offered Gerken, according to 247Sports. He has also been offered by the following notable schools: Cincinnati, Kentucky, Louisville, NC State, North Carolina, Pittsburgh, Purdue, Tennessee, Virginia, Virginia Tech, West Virginia and USF.
Gerken is also expected to visit Tennessee, Indiana and Wisconsin over the next week.
