The Best Golf Deals Worth Your Money Right Now

by

For the film industry, the beginning of the year means one thing: awards season (No, “Sinners” does not deserve a Best Picture nomination). Similarly, for the golfing world, we’re in the thick of release season, and with a new release seemingly every five minutes, my head is spinning. Every year, OEMs are coming out with the “latest and greatest” and every year, they get more and more expensive. We’re at a point where a new driver is pushing $700. To put that into perspective, you can fly roundtrip to A LOT of places and play a round at a number of nice courses for less. Golf gear is expensive, but it doesn’t have to be. In my opinion, these are the best deals you can buy right now.

Tour Edge Golf Hot Launch C523 Fairway Woods

Tour Edge continues to be the biggest and best deal in golf, and it’s not close. I’ve had a chance to hit and play the Hot Launch C523 Fairway Woods, and let me tell you, these things are so easy to launch and absolutely fly. Fairway woods are a club that while they’re important to your bag, are not something you need to upgrade every single year or play the latest model. Right now, a brand new Hot Launch C523 is $85. At that price. you’re hard-pressed to find a used fairway wood this good. I would happily stack this up against any other fairway out there.

Wilson Infinite Buckingham Putter

Old reliable. I don’t know what else to say about the Buckingham. For $130, this putter provides value and performance that won’t quit. We’ve entered into a world where brand new putters are generally over $400. Do you mean to tell me another putter is almost 4x better than our 2025 Mallet of the Year? Yeah, I didn’t think so.

adidas Coursecup Spikeless Golf Shoes

You’re hard-pressed to find a solid pair of sneakers for $50 nowadays let alone a pair of golf shoes. If you know anything about us here at MyGolfSpy, we love the Coursecup. It’s versatile, looks great, performs well on-course, and can absolutely, in a pinch, be worn casually post-round.

Tour Edge E525 VIBRCOR Wedge

Once again, Tour Edge is coming in hot. While I don’t have any first-hand experience playing these wedges, I can’t imagine a more forgiving set of wedges for a mid-high handicapper (for your game and wallet). In my experience playing with Tour Edge clubs, they’re good quality, easy to launch, and very forgiving. Wedges are expensive, and even “on sale” wedges average about $130 a club, so $79.99 is great value. They also have a “wedge pack” of 3 wedges on Amazon for $119.99 if you wanted to go even lower.

Vice Boost Starter Set

If you’re looking for a great-quality starter set, look no further. The Vice Boost Starter Set is worlds better than the boxed brands you might find at a store. I got these for my wife to upgrade from a boxed Top Flite set, and I am blown away by how much better this is for just $250 more. For less than $550, this is an amazing set for the price and takes a lot of stress out of getting someone into golf. It’s really hard to imagine a better boxed set for a better price.

TaylorMade SIM2 Max Driver

This driver is a GOAT for a reason. $350 for a brand new, still top-performing driver is REALLY tough to beat. It’s not a groundbreaking deal and it’s not the OG SIM2, but the SIM2 Max still remains one of the best deals in golf.
