WWE showed up in Montreal for their January 23 episode of SmackDown. Saturday Night’s Main Event will go down tomorrow, and we know who will take on the Women’s Tag Team Champions after that.
The tides in WWE are always changing, and that is very true for a competitive scene like the Women’s Tag Team Title picture. This week on SmackDown, they held a grueling match during the show’s third hour to decide who will get a shot at the Kabuki Warriors next.
Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss, Nia Jax and Lash Legend, and Giulia and Kiana James squared off in an intense WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship No. 1 Contender’s Triple Threat Match.
This match was all over the place. In the end, just as it looked like Alexa Bliss was going to win the match, Lash Legend nailed her with a Lash Extension. Then Kiana James got rid of Lash and stole the pinfall.
Liv Morgan and Roxanne Perez will battle the Kabuki Warriors for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles tomorrow night at Saturday Night’s main event. Now we know what Kiana James and Giulia will get the next shot at the titles after that.
