Nebraska freshman guard Braden Frager was diagnosed with a sprained ankle and is day-to-day. The program confirmed the news earlier this week.
Frager suffered the injury during the team’s win on Wednesday night against Washington. The injury happened in the first half of the game, and he did not return to action. He was in street clothes for the rest of the contest and had a boot on his leg.

Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports tweeted on Thursday that Frager has been diagnosed with a sprained ankle and his status moving forward is day-to-day. He is expected to miss the Minnesota game on Saturday.
Frager has been a massive part of Nebraska basketball’s success this season. He has averaged 12.2 points per game on the year and has been extremely valuable off the bench.
This will certainly be an entry with monitoring over the next couple of games, as the conference slate gets harder. Hopefully, this is not a lingering injury, and he can heal up before postseason play.
