Tennessee football coach visits 2027 Louisiana offensive lineman

Tennessee is recruiting toward its 2027 football signing class. Vols’ offensive line coach Glen Elarbee visited four-star interior offensive lineman Albert Simien.

“Thank you coach Glen Elarbee for visiting my school and talking with my family today,” Simien said. “We had a great time talking with you.”

The 6-foot-4, 280-pound prospect is from Sam Houston High School in Moss Bluff, Louisiana. 247Sports ranks him as the No. 2 interior offensive lineman in the class and No. 3 player in Louisiana.

The Vols offered Simien a scholarship on Oct. 4, 2024 and has not visited Tennessee.

LSU was the first school to offer the 2027 prospect a scholarship on Oct. 3, 2024. Other schools to offer him scholarships include Houston, Ole Miss, Texas A&M, Lamar, Nebraska, Sacramento State, Oklahoma, Alabama, Notre Dame, Florida, TCU, Auburn, UTEP, Arkansas, Liberty, West Virginia, Michigan, North Carolina, SMU, Baylor, Florida State and Oregon.

Tennessee has four commitments in its 2027 football recruiting class: linebacker JP Peace, cornerback Kamauri Whitfield, offensive tackle Princeton Uwaifo and defensive lineman Kadin Fife.
