LSU football officially signed Jordan Seaton, the best offensive lineman in the transfer portal. He chose the Tigers amid a chaotic recruiting period.
With spring enrollment deadlines looming, Seaton needed to make a decision. He visited Mississippi State and Miami, then Oregon head coach Dan Lanning met with him in Atlanta. Lane Kiffin also headed to Atlanta for a final push and ended up securing the commitment.

A former five-year recruit in the 2024 cycle, Seaton contributed immediately upon his arrival to Colorado. Under head coach Deion Sanders, Seaton started for two seasons in a power conference. According to Rivals’ Industry Rankings, he’s the portal’s No. 4 overall player.
Coming out of high school at IMG Academy, the Washington DC native was the top offensive tackle and ranked No. 5 in Florida as well as No. 18 nationally. His signing wraps up a successful first transfer recruiting period for Kiffin.
How did social media react to Seaton signing with LSU?
Kiffin made a post referring to what he said on the first day of the transfer portal opening. LSU has since accumulated several high-ranked players to build the No. 1 transfer class, per 247Sports.
Some social media users are marveling at Kiffin’s work a few months into the job at LSU. It remains to be seen whether the team can gel together and compete for SEC and national titles.
