Predicting LSU football’s starting offensive line in 2026

by

LSU football’s offensive line will look a lot different in 2026. New head coach Lane Kiffin arrived and replaced the entire offensive staff, leading to wholesale changes of the offensive personnel.

LSU is only returning one wide receiver who caught a pass in 2025, Phillip Wright, and the Tigers’ QB room doesn’t return a scholarship QB who threw a pass in 2025. LSU made significant additions in the portal at both positions, signing Arizona State QB Sam Leavitt, among others.

The offensive line underwent similar changes, but LSU managed to retain a couple of starters from the 2025 group. Center Braelin Moore passed up the NFL Draft while Weston Davis flirted with the portal, but opted for a return to Baton Rouge.

If LSU can get the offensive line right, the Tigers’ offense is good enough to contend for the College Football Playoff in Kiffin’s first year. The season is still a long way away, but let’s take a look at LSU’s most likely starting five under new offensive line coach Eric Wolford.

LT — Jordan Seaton, JR, Transfer

This was easy. When Colorado transfer tackle Jordan Seaton entered the portal, he immediately became the best available offensive lineman. All of the usual suspects were interested, including Miami and Oregon. LSU won out and wooed the coveted tackle to Baton Rouge.

Seaton gives LSU a bona fide starter at left tackle. He was a five-star recruit coming out of high school and immediately won a starting job with the Buffaloes. Seaton brings over 1,400 snaps of experience to LSU, giving the Tigers a combination of talent and experience the roster had previously lacked. He only allowed six hits on the QB in his two years in Boulder. Seaton will be a first-round pick in the 2027 NFL Draft and raises the floor of this unit.

LG — Aliou Bah, RS JR, Transfer

Bah was the most experienced offensive line addition of LSU’s transfer class, bringing 1,511 blocking snaps from his three years at Georgia and Maryland (the vast majority of those snaps came with Maryland).

Bah was a two-year starter with the Terps and posted a 72.3 PFF blocking grade in 2025. Bah was talented enough to sign with Georgia out of high school. There were growing pains in his first year as a starter in 2024, but he made strides in 2025. If Bah keeps growing, LSU has a decent player on its hands. LSU didn’t add many OL with starting experience, especially in the Power Four. Bah hails from the Big Ten and is familiar with blocking NFL-quality defensive linemen.

C — Braelin Moore, RS SR, Returnee

Braelin Moore’s return was huge for LSU. LSU’s offensive line will take some time to gel. Having a veteran center can accelerate that process.

Moore was a member of LSU’s highly-touted 2025 transfer class after begining his career at Virginia Tech. His 2025 season was up and down with the Tigers. When he was healthy, Moore was one of the best centers in the SEC. But he dealt with a lingering ankle injury all season and it hurt LSU.

Moore’s ceiling is high and if he’s healthy in 2026, the Tigers have a needed veteran presence on the interior.

RG — Devin Harper, RS FR, Transfer

Bah will occupy one of the guard spots, but the other side is wide open. I’ll predict Devin Harper to win the position battle. Harper is a Louisiana native who signed with Ole Miss out of high school. With Kiffin bringing most of the Rebels’ offensive staff to Baton Rouge, Harper decided to follow.

The blue-chip recruit will have a chance to compete for the starting gig right away. He’ll be a redshirt freshman and his experience is limited, but you could say the same about most guys competing for this role. Harper’s talent makes him a strong candidate to start right away.

RT — Weston Davis, RS SO, Returnee

Few players on LSU’s roster caught as much heat as Davis in 2025. In his first year as a starter, Davis struggled. He was inconsistent in pass protection and run blocking. After a report of Davis entering the portal, LSU convinced the talented tackle to return.

Davis was a five-star recruit out of Texas in 2024 and all of the athletic tools are there. There were glimmers of hope at the end of the year as Davis finished 2025 with his three best games of the season. If Davis can build on that, he’ll earn the starting job again. He’s far from a lock and I expect there to be a position battle here, but we’ll give Davis the nod for now.
