Tennessee is recruiting toward its 2027 football signing class. Vols’ offensive line coach Glen Elarbee visited four-star offensive tackle Nate Carson.
The 6-foot-4, 270-pound prospect is from Irmo High School in Columbia, South Carolina. 247Sports ranks him as the No. 15 offensive tackle in the class and No. 3 player in South Carolina.

Tennessee offered Carson a scholarship on March 6, 2025. He has not visited the Vols.
South Carolina was the first school to offer Carson a scholarship on Sept. 14, 2024. Other schools to offer him scholarships include Georgia State, Florida State, Virginia Tech, Alabama, Florida, Ohio State, Missouri, Charlotte, Purdue, Coastal Carolina, Oregon, Nebraska, Georgia, Duke, Georgia Tech, Auburn, Maryland, Mississippi State, North Carolina State, Clemson, North Carolina and Kentucky.
Tennessee has four commitments in its 2027 football recruiting class: linebacker JP Peace, cornerback Kamauri Whitfield, offensive tackle Princeton Uwaifo and defensive lineman Kadin Fife.
