The LSU Tigers have concluded their football season and while they focus on next year’s team, their now former players are focusing on the NFL draft.
After an impressive showing in the 2026 East-West Shrine Bowl, former Tigers wideout Chris Hilton Jr. has been a late add to the 2026 Senior Bowl roster, per WAFB’s Jacques Doucet.

Many scouts at the Shrine Bowl praised the performance of Hilton. It’s no surprise, given that this is an environment built for someone like him to excel. The defense is at a disadvantage and he has speed for days.
The Zachary product came to Baton Rouge as a highly sought-after recruit. He was the No. 58 overall player in his class, fifth-best wideout and third in Louisiana. His ceiling always felt sky high.
A number of unfortunate injuries and circumstances kept Hilton from really ever getting the opportunity to perform at LSU. He finished his career with 41 catches for 780 yards and six touchdowns. He had a career average of 19 yards per reception.
If he can stay healthy, he certainly has enough to offer an NFL team for a shot. At the very least, he has the speed for it.

Being brought over from the Shrine Bowl to the Senior Bowl is a big deal. There were 106 Senior Bowl players drafted last season. That’s over 41% of the draft. He will have the chance to compete in two practices before the game and the chance to meet with every single NFL team.
This would be a fantastic journey to the league if Hilton can continue to impress.
