Michigan State has extended an offer to one of metro Detroit’s best prospects, tapping into a local powerhouse for the latest 2026 interest.
Cedric Williams Jr. received a PWO offer from the Spartans. A 5-foot-11, 185 pound running back from Novi (MI), he has been a standout for Catholic Central, helping lead the school to a state championship in 2025. He ran for 1,261 yards and 13 touchdowns in the championship season.

New MSU running backs coach Devon Spalding visited the school, extending the offer to the running back while also visiting MSU 4-star wide receiver commit Samson Gash.
