NORMAN — OU football landed its first commitment of the 2028 class Thursday night.
Four-star running back Micah Rhodes announced his commitment to the Sooners. He chose OU over Texas and Texas A&M.
The Houston area native is ranked as the No. 1 running back nationally in the 2028 class by 247Sports.

General manager Jim Nagy and his front office staff have been on a heater the last few months.
The Sooners’ 2027 class boasts 13 commitments and is ranked No. 1 by 247Sports. Now, Nagy lands his first 2028 prospect.
