Vanderbilt women’s basketball had to wait a day, but will get the chance to rebound from its first loss of the season.
The No. 6 Commodores (20-1, 6-1 SEC) face No. 17 Ole Miss (17-4, 4-2) on Jan. 30 at Legacy Arena in Birmingham, Alabama. The game was originally scheduled for Jan. 29 in Oxford, Mississippi, but had to be postponed and relocated due to a severe winter storm that brought icy conditions and power outages. Ole Miss’ campus is closed through Feb. 1.

Vanderbilt lost 103-74 at South Carolina on Jan. 25, committing 20 turnovers and allowing the Gamecocks to shoot 62% from the field. Sophomore guard Mikayla Blakes scored 23 points in the loss.
The Rebels won at Missouri 82-61 in their most recent game on Jan. 22. They were scheduled to host No. 15 Tennessee on Jan. 25, but that game was postponed.
