The Michigan State and Michigan women’s basketball teams will meet as top-15 ranked teams for the first time ever on Sunday, Feb. 1.
And the matchup against the No. 9-ranked Wolverines kicks off a big two-week stretch for No . 13 MSU where it will face three ranked teams in four games.

MSU (19-2, 8-2) enters the matchup coming off an 86-65 road victory over Purdue on Thursday, Jan. 29 and has its best record in program history. Michigan (18-3, 9-1) recorded a 95-67 road win over Indiana on Jan. 29.
MSU and Michigan split their regular season meetings in 2025 with each earning their rivalry win on the road.
