No. 15 Tennessee (14-4,6-1 SEC) will play No. 1 UConn (22-0, 12-0 Big East) Sunday in a renewal of one of women’s college basketball’s traditional rivalries.
Tipoff between the Lady Vols and Huskies is scheduled for noon EST at PeoplesBank Arena in Hartford, Connecticut.

Sunday will mark the 28th meeting in the all-time series, dating to the 1994-95 season. Tennessee has a 10-17 record in previous games contested between the two schools.
The schools last played on Feb. 8, 2025 with the Lady Vols defeating the eventual 2024-25 national champion, 80-76, at Food City Center. The 2025 game represents the Huskies’ last loss.
UConn has won six of its last 10 games against the Lady Vols, and Tennessee is 4-6 in games contested in Connecticut.
The schools first played on Jan. 16, 1995 with UConn recording a, 77-66, victory.
