The UFC made its 21st stop in Australia on Saturday with UFC 325 at Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney, and in the main event, a local hero prevailed.

Alexander Volkanovski (28-4 MMA, 15-3 UFC) got the chance to show out on home soil for perhaps the final time in his career when he outworked Diego Lopes (27-8 MMA, 6-3 UFC) to a unanimous decision in their rematch, marking the first successful title defense in his second reign as featherweight champion.

The UFC Promotional Guidelines Compliance payout for the event totaled $234,000.

Volkanovski, Lopes, Mauricio Ruffy and Quillan Salkilld earned $100,000 UFC 325 fight-night bonuses. Four fighters earned $25,000 stoppage bonuses.

Debuting fighters went 3-3 on the card.

UFC 325 drew an announced attendance of 18,102 for a live gate of $10,103,136.

Betting favorites went 10-4 on the card.

Betting favorites improved to 1-1 in UFC headliners this year.
