Four years before hosting Rugby World Cup 2031, the USA Men’s Eagles will compete in a challenging group in Australia 2027. Their opponents, France, Japan and Samoa have all left their mark at past Rugby World Cups.
The Eagles will play matches in three different Australian cities and do so in three different states. The venues are all different to those in which the USA played in back in Rugby World Cup 2003 which was also hosted by Australia.
The USA will open their campaign in Melbourne, Victoria against France on Saturday, October 2nd. From there, the USA Men’s Eagles will travel to Perth, Western Australia to face Samoa before playing game three in Adelaide, South Australia against Japan on October 15.
Rugby World Cup 2027 will be an expanded edition featuring 24 teams. The USA qualified by defeating Samoa, a result that is certain to be talked about in the days and hours before their match in Perth.
