Happy Tuesday everyone. We are back with a pair of questions for you. This week’s inquiries both relate to the MSU Men’s Basketball Team. First up, after a deflating loss to those guys from ann arbor, we want to see how your projections for this season have changed. Hopefully, you think it was just a bad day and not who we really are.
The second question focuses in on our point guard, Jeremy Fears Jr. Fears has been on an absolute tear since 2026 began, scoring at least 14 points in each game all while maintaining his second-in-the-nation 8.8 assist average (Braden Smith is down to 8.9). He has given us back-to-back career highs with 29 and then 31 points in the last two games.

The question is how elite is Fears among the nation’s top PGs. I reached out to the other SB Nation writers around the country to ask for their opinions on who the best are in their respective conferences. Here are some of the names that were propped up:
-
Christian Anderson, Texas Tech
-
Kingston Flemings, Houston
-
Josh Hubbard, Mississippi State
-
Ja’Kobi Gillespie, Tennessee
So which tier is “Nightmare” in?
