– The WrenQCC gives Sol Ruca major props for representing NXT in the Women’s Royal Rumble Match. Before Sol could finish her sentence, Zaria cuts her off by saying it was so fun. Sol feels bad that Zaria wasn’t there, it would’ve been a lot more fun. Sol keeps saying that, but she continues to get all these opportunities that Zaria doesn’t get. Sol is not in charge of who gets opportunities or not. She takes what’s in front of her and makes the best out of it. What would have Zaria done if she was in Sol’s position? Probably the same thing, but she needs to win the TNA Knockouts Tag Team Titles just for herself tonight.
– NXT will be returning to Center Stage in Atlanta, Georgia on February 24th.
– Coming out of the commercial break, Chase University is checking up on Andre Chase in the trainer’s room. Kale Dixon asks Uriah Connors if he’s got his head on straight after how he acted last week. Uriah is tired of sitting around and waiting for opportunities. Stacks, Lexis King and Arianna Grace pokes fun at Kale having his panties in a bunch, because Uriah wants to make a name for himself. Did Kale stop to think that maybe Uriah wants to claim his birthright? Kale says that Lexis knows nothing about them, and this doesn’t concern him. Are we going to sit here and act like Lexis King cares about anyone other than himself? Kale tells Uriah that if he wants an opportunity, Stacks and Lexis are standing right in front of them. Arianna says that she can make that match official. Lexis sees a lot of potential in front of him, but the question is, which one of Chase U is it?
Tony D’Angelo Segment
Tony D’Angelo: So, it’s been about seven months since I’ve had an opportunity to talk to you guys. Now, I can keep it simple, tell you I came back for two reasons, drop the mic, call it a day, but I got some things I got to get off my chest. Turn these lights on, I want to see everybody. Now, I’m sure most of you guys already know my past in NXT. Former Heritage Cup Champion. Former 2X Tag Team Champion. Former NXT North American Champion. And about a year ago, I was a happy man. I was surrounded by family, friends, people I could look in the face and say, no matter what, I have your back, and that was taken from me. And no disrespect to my past, but that was the wakeup call I needed, because growing up in Chicago, you need to stand on your own two feet to survive. And when you’re involved in the things I’m involved in, and you’re good in that business, your life changes. You gain a crew, you gain a family, and that was a responsibility that was all new to me.
So, when DarkState decided to ruin my life, I needed to regroup. I sat alone in a dark room, and I needed to remember who Tony D’Angelo was, by himself. I needed to remember I was a National Champion. I needed to remember I was a Division One All-American. I needed to remember what I do best, and that’s bouncing people’s heads off the mat. And you know what? There’s a reason I came back to NXT the way I did, calculated, dropping bodies left and right, where’s Tony, nobody knows, he’s in the crowd, he’s in the shadows, he’s in the back. And all of a sudden, in a business where everybody knows everything, nobody knew nothing, and I like that. Now, this is a selfish business, and right now, it’s an incredibly selfish time in NXT, which aligns exactly with my plans. Tony D’Angelo came back for two reasons, reason one, I’ll let you know, because I want them to know that I’m coming. DarkState. You see, this isn’t about vengeance, it’s about punishment. You took everything from me, and now I’m gonna take everything from you. And reason number two, you’ll find out when I’m done with DarkState.
– Shiloh Hill Vignette.

Four new superstars are gonna try to take my Speed Championship? Elio LeFleur and Eli Knight can fly, but I enjoy swatting bugs out of the sky. Keanu Carver didn’t help matters sneaking up on him, but Hendry’s not going to allow some bruised ribs get in the way of achieving what he’s been so close to. Last year was the biggest year of his life, but the smile has been hiding frustration and disappointment, because for the last seven months, he’s been without a championship. He didn’t come to NXT just to entertain; he came here to be a champion. No matter how many times Hendry gets knocked down, he’s going to get back up, and he’s going to keep climbing that ladder. Hendry wants to give the WWE Universe a bigger reason to believe in Joe Hendry. Say his name and he appears; Joe Hendry is the new NXT Champion.

Page says that he’s done with Myles Borne after he hit him with his championship last week. Page is fine with that, because Myles is not hungry, and he has three young superstars who will listen to anything he has to say. NXT is not that hard to figure out, all you have to do is whatever it takes to win. Swipe Right has that opportunity next week against Hank & Tank, all they have to do is use their brains. Jacy Jayne, Zaria, Wren Sinclair, Kendal Grey, Sol Ruca, Mr. Stone Segment
Jacy Jayne: Do you people know what it feels like to wait your entire career life for something, only for it to get taken out right underneath at the very last second? You see, this past Saturday, in a moment that was a long, long overdue, I know, I competed in my very first Royal Rumble, and it was going exactly the way I always pictured it would. I was on fire, I was killing it, I even threw that sad ass Kelani Jordan right over the top rope. That’s right, and the crowd was chanting my name, because even halfway across the world, everybody knows that I am in fact the backbone of the deepest women’s division in the world today. Everything was going absolutely perfect, that is until Sol Ruca snuck up behind me, cheap shotted me, and threw me over the top rope.
That was supposed to be my moment. And of course, of all people to do this to me, it would be Sol Ruca, I mean, why would I expect anything less. While I’ve been carrying this division on my back, all year, who’s the one first person that everybody always wants to talk about? Yeah, let’s hear it, you idiots. Go ahead, get on the bandwagon, like the fickle people you are. You know, there goes Sol going viral for another one of her Sol Snatchers, there’s Sol, the double champion. Well, guess what, so was I, and a better one at that. Oh, let’s not talk about that right, you don’t want to know the facts. But you know what, Sol, it’s fine, it’s fine, you can steal my moment, that’s perfectly freaking fine. Because at the end of the day, all I’m gonna have to do is be the one to finally shut everybody up and kill the hype. That’s why my next opponent for the NXT Women’s Championship is.
Zaria: No, no, no, Jacy, uh-uh. Did you really think you could sick your little lap dogs on me, and that would be it? Sol has got plenty of opportunities handed to her here, it’s time that I make my own. Sol isn’t the one that you should be worried about taking that title, you should be worried about me ripping it out of your little grubby hands.
Jacy Jayne: Aww, Zaria, you know, I hate to be the one to break it to you, but there’s a reason that you don’t get any opportunities. Everybody loves Sol, they just tolerate you. Sol has proven, time and time again why she deserves opportunities, while you on the other hand, you haven’t done a damn thing.
Kendal Grey: Hold on, hold on, hold on. Jacy, Jacy, Jacy, you can act like you’re onto the next best thing, but don’t forget, it took all three of you to beat me at New Year’s Evil. I was this close to beating you, so of course I want to run it back. You see, I used to ask myself if I was ready, but now the only question on my mind isn’t if I could beat you and become the NXT Women’s Champion, it’s whether I’m going to pin you or tap you out.
Zaria: Kendal, if you know what’s good for you, you’ll stay out of my way.
Wren Sinclair: Why, she deserves this match way more than you do?
Zaria: Unlike you, I am nobody’s sidekick.
Kendal Grey: Hey, we’re not the one keeping secrets from each other. And if we were the ones in the TNA Knockouts Tag Title Match, we wouldn’t drop the ball.
Sol Ruca: Guys, guys, guys, can we all just chill out for a second? Look, all of us want a shot at that NXT Women’s Championship. I mean, I know Kendal does, I sure do, hell, I mean, I’m sure that Wren does, too, but I mean they’re still friends, aren’t they, Zaria?
Zaria: Kendal doesn’t sneak off to the Rumble, Sol.
Jacy Jayne: You know what, that’s enough, I’ve had enough of this. You guys can figure this out in your weird little couples therapy, the only person I called out here was Sol.
Mr. Stone: Woah, woah, wait a second. Ladies, ladies, ladies. Look, I got a solution that I think you all are gonna love. So, for my first act as Interim GM, I’m going to do something unique. So, next week, it’s gonna be The WrenQCC versus ZaRuca, and whoever gets the pinfall for their team, in three weeks, live from Atlanta, Georgia, is gonna go one-on-one against Jacy Jayne for the NXT Women’s Championship.
– Kelly Kincaid had a backstage interview with Kelani Jordan. Kelani wants to ask Kelly a question. How is Lola Vice going to knockout anyone, anymore when Kelani broke her hand? Kelani walks away.
