The Big Ten Conference announced its weekly award winners for swimming and diving.

Big Ten Women’s Swimmer and Freshman of the Week  

Liberty Clark, Indiana

Fr. – Chico, Calif. 

  • Helped Indiana defeat No. 4 Louisville, 161-138
  • Won three events, two individual and one relay, and had one runner-up finish
  • Broke own program record in 100 free victory by .47 with a time of 46.36, also a pool record
  • Set a pool record in 200 free victory with a time of 1:41.35
  • Broke own program record and went under previous pool record in second-place 50 free finish with a time of 21.48
  • Helped Indiana tie the Big Ten record in 400 freestyle relay with a time of 3:08.07, another program and pool record
  • Last Indiana Swimmer of the Week: Liberty Clark (Jan. 14, 2026)
  • Last Indiana Freshman of the Week: Liberty Clark (Jan. 28, 2026)

Big Ten Women’s Diver of the Week  

Vivi Del Angel, Minnesota

Sr. – Veracruz, Mexico 

  • Swept the diving events against Northwestern and Purdue at the Big Ten triple duals
  • Tallied a 339.65 to win the women’s 3-meter
  • Tallied a 331.30 to win the women’s platform
  • Last Minnesota Diver of the Week: Elna Widerstrom (Nov. 12, 2025)

Big Ten Swimmer of the Week  

Stuart Seymour, Northwestern

Jr. – Brookfield, Wis. 

  • Claimed event victories in all six events he participated in, earning wins in the 100 back (45.38) and 100 fly (45.65)
  • Was a part of the four victorious Wildcat relays, helping push Northwestern to victories over Purdue and Minnesota
  • Last Northwestern Swimmer of the Week: Diego Nosack (Jan. 22, 2025)

Big Ten Men’s Diver of the Week  

Tyler Wills, Purdue

So. – Carmel, Ind. 

  • Swept the 3-meter and platform events at the Big Ten Triple Duals vs. Minnesota and Northwestern
  • Won both events for the second time this month, sweeping a pair of events at an NCAA meet for the first time in his career
  • Scored a 415.40 in 3-meter and a 429.00 on platform
  • Last Purdue Diver of the Week: Tyler Wills (Jan. 28, 2026)

Big Ten Men’s Freshman of the Week  

Vicente Villanueva, Penn State

Santiago, Chile 

  • Helped Penn State to dual meet wins over West Virginia and George Washington
  • On Friday against WVU, earned a win in the 200 breaststroke in a time of 1:56.60, adding a second-place finish in the 100 breaststroke (53.73)
  • On Saturday vs. GW, earned wins in the 100 breaststroke (54.02) and 200 breaststroke (1:58.92)
  • Last Penn State Freshman of the Week: Cooper Morley (Jan. 25, 2023)
