As the hiring cycle continues in the NFL, a Michigan State alum has landed a role with the Los Angeles Chargers.
Jim Harbaugh has tabbed Adam Gase to be the team’s next passing game coordinator. This will be Gase’s first coaching job since he was the head coach of the New York Jets in 2020.

Gase started his coaching journey with Michigan State, where he was a student assistant to the coaching staff as an undergraduate student. After working for Nick Saban in a student capacity, he joined Saban in the move to LSU as a graduate assistant.
Gase proceeded to have a long coaching career in the NFL, which culminated in a 5-year coaching stint with the Miami Dolphins and New York Jets, where he compiled a 32-48 record.
The former Michigan head coach has decided to bring back the former Spartan, getting him into coaching again after a five-year hiatus.
