The IInspiration Sign with AEW After Surprise Debut at House Rules in Brisbane

by

The IInspiration didn’t show up at AEW Grand Slam Australia like many have expected — but they didn’t stay away for long.

Jessica McKay and Cassie Lee made their AEW debut on February 15, 2026 at the House Rules live event in Brisbane, Australia. The former TNA Knockouts Tag Team Champions competed against Frankie B and Aysha, and after the match, they grabbed the microphone and confirmed they are now All Elite.

The debut came after rumors suggested they would be heading to AEW earlier this month. Dave Meltzer had previously reported growing interest from AEW following The IInspiration’s exit from TNA. In the February 6 edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Meltzer wrote:

“We’ve heard a lot of talk of The IInspiration (Jessica McKay & Cassie Lee) coming in, really ever since they left TNA for another opportunity right after losing their tag titles to The Elegance Brand on the AMC debut show on 1/15.”

Now officially part of the AEW roster, The IInspiration bring name recognition, chemistry, and experience to a women’s division that continues to evolve. The bigger question now becomes how AEW plans to position one of the most recognizable tag teams in recent women’s wrestling history.

Should AEW fast-track The IInspiration into the women’s tag title picture, or build them up slowly in the division first? Drop your thoughts in the comments and let us know.
